Any action that requires a roll causes at least 1 point of stress. Each character has a stamina pool for each of their proficiencies and specializations, equal to their proficiency level. Stress depletes the stamina pool of the proficiency or specialization associated with the action that caused it.
If a character incurs stress when the associated stamina pool is empty, they gain equal points of fatigue. Each point of fatigue increases the difficulty of all rolls a character makes (regardless of proficiency).
A character can avoid fatigue by spending successes on stamina, which reduce the stress of an action by 1 for each.
A character can restore stamina pools and reduce fatigue by resting.
